Whistleblower & CEPA

Request a CEPA Consultation

Contact Gray Law Group to discuss a potential New Jersey whistleblower-retaliation matter. Begin with a brief description of the concern, the employer’s name and a safe way to reach you. Identify any upcoming hearing, signing deadline or employment decision.

What the initial review needs

Prepare a short chronology covering your position, the conduct that concerned you, when and how you raised it, the response and any later employment action. Explain what outcome you are seeking and whether another lawyer or proceeding is involved.

A preparation checklist

  • Your employer’s name, job title, work location and employment dates.
  • Dates and recipients of your complaints, and a description of what you said.
  • The employer’s explanation for discipline, transfer, suspension or termination.
  • Relevant agreements, notices and performance records that you may lawfully provide.
  • Names of witnesses and an explanation of what each person knows.
  • Information about lost pay, later employment and any pending proceeding.

You do not need every document before requesting a consultation. Identify records you believe exist without trying to obtain them through access you are not authorized to use.

What happens next?

The firm will need to determine whether it can consider the matter and what information is required for an attorney’s evaluation. Ask about consultation fees and availability when scheduling. Any representation will be addressed through an engagement agreement defining the work to be undertaken.

Call 973-240-7313 or use the consultation request form. Gray Law Group is located at 727 Rt 15 N, Suite 200, Jefferson, NJ 07849.

Contact preferences matter

Use a contact method you can access privately. Tell the firm whether voicemail is safe and when you can speak. Avoid using the form for detailed medical information, patient identifiers or confidential workplace documents.

Initial request

Provide your name, employer and relevant adverse-party names, safe contact details, the date of the employment action and a brief description. If a deadline may be imminent, call the firm and identify it expressly.

Submitting a request does not itself create an attorney-client relationship or preserve a legal deadline. Do not assume the firm is taking action unless representation has been agreed upon.
